Mission

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Luisiana is dedicated to building a disaster-resilient community by enhancing preparedness, risk reduction, and recovery strategies. We aim to safeguard lives, property, and the environment through proactive measures, strong governance, and active community participation.

Our mission is to promote disaster awareness, provide timely emergency response, and implement sustainable solutions to mitigate the impact of natural and human-induced hazards in Luisiana, Laguna.

DRR Activities

Luisiana MDRRMO conducts regular disaster preparedness training, early warning system updates, and emergency drills to strengthen community resilience. Our key activities include:

  • Barangay Disaster Readiness Training - Capacity-building sessions for local emergency responders and residents.
  • Flood and Landslide Risk Assessment - Monitoring high-risk areas to enhance preparedness measures.
  • Tree Planting and Environmental Programs - Reforestation and watershed conservation to reduce disaster risks.
  • Community-Based First Aid and Rescue Training - Equipping residents with life-saving skills.
  • Emergency Response and Relief Operations - Rapid assistance for affected families during calamities.
